About the Artist
|
|
Brigitte Wachs brings a multi-cultural background to her artwork.
Born in Austria, she has lived in the Philippines and England and has
traveled extensively worldwide. She is a graduate of the Cooper Union
University in New York City, and has studied at the Queen Elizabeth
College in London. She has worked in diverse art media and currently
concentrates on the Wachs Brass Rubbing Centre. Besides creating
rubbings and showing at arts and craft shows she presents programs and
workshops at schools and organizations. She has appeared on several
television shows to introduce the art of brass rubbing.
